OK i thought i would post this up to see what people think about both ideas and the balance they both bring to the game, Some people may think gifting is OP but it was a built in option on SC/FA.
Gifting units = Giving a unit of your faction to a ally.
Sacrifice units = Sacrificing your unit to create a new unit of you ally's chosen faction.

As so may people like the gifting unit idea i will create it into a side mod but with a draw back which i think is fare for cheating tech, If you gift an engineer of a different faction every think will cost x2 to build.

Sacrificing units, their's so many strategic possibilities for that option. Or, preferably, implement both.
You could make it based on the tier of the unit
it would be great if you could choose before the game starts (maybe the same way you can enable/disable eg. nukes) if that is possible to code that.

gifting is a must
I don't think gifting would be over powered because its not faction specific and all players have access to it. I think it is jut part of good teamwork.
I voted for Gifting Units but it would be nice if both of them were implemented.
I may make both side mods.
