Discovery Freelancer 4.85: Reunion has been developed for over a year by now, and we will soon present the first public beta of the mod. The pre-release trailer is already available.

Today, we are releasing the trailer for Discovery Freelancer 4.85: Reunion mod by Discovery Dev Team. The trailer was created by 13CentKiller using actual in-game footage and custom music, and showcases a number of new ships, new systems, storyline events, and action sequences taking place in newly added locations. Yet, what the trailer shows is just a small fraction of what you will be able to see in the game after the mod is released.

The release of first public beta of the mod is expected on Discovery official server ( soon enough, and we will be uploading more screenshots to the ModDB gallery shortly.

Check the trailer on the official YouTube Discovery Mod Channel and on the Discovery profile.

I think considering all you are seeing is some imagies of bases and a couple of NPC battles that realy are a tiny part of the mod. That this "Pre release trailor" is epic. Nothing needs to happen you can see the awsomness just watching this. And not a single person used to pull it off. Apart from the camera man.

and even more so since this actually isnt played by humans...all "action" (and there is plenty) is pure add player into account and you get hell of a game...

Well, I liked the trailer. My initial thought about "Discovery" title was 'Ooo is this some sort of exploration game in space?'

It seems not, but you do have nice looking systems and bases there. Though I don't really play freelancer...:P
