The mod's feature list, and some details on the release.

The development of the Curse mod is almost done,more precisely it will be finished tomorrow.
Now we managed to finish the mod,but we didn't had any time to promote it.So, while the release date is May 18th,the mod will be not available for download yet, watch FilePlanet for an announcement.
Since the last summer there was a lot of news post about the features of the mod. Here's all of them
but with the latest screenshots. This is the feature list of Curse episodes:
That cryptic sounding feature actually never mentioned before, because I thought it's not too interesting. In Half-Life 2 the default texture scale on the walls (in Hammer) is 0.25. Those who not into mapping in source, with this value you can control the amount of pixels/world unit on a brush face.In Curse I used 0.125 on almost everything, world geometry, models etc, which means double detail.In the screenshot above: I moved to the column on the left as close as possible,to give you an idea how it looks. If you happen to have a huge monitor, you'll going to love this feature for sure!
This is a feature you'll not going to find in any other game (on the pc). Your main weapon : a magic flail, is controlled directly with the mouse.That means you can hit the mummies in your own style, from any direction you like : it's fun
The game will not force you to fight hordes of mummies, or to solve all the puzzles.If you like
you can just wander around and break all the vases and such, through the entire game till the credits starts to roll: that's the easiest setting.But if you looking for action, just push a button here and there..and see what'll happen.
The first(left) is when you appear in the Necropolis the first time.If you didn't unlock all it's secrets it'll stay like that.(as i mentioned, it is not necessary to unlock everything to finish the game) In the middle you'll see the 'nightmare-mode'. This will happen when you.. actually I won't tell more about this one. The blueish on the right is when there's nothing left to do in that Necropolis, you killed all the evil monsters, and unlocked everything.
Curse episodes has some traditional 'find-the-button' type puzzles, but it's called 'find-the-scarabeus' here.
These are the 'magic-doors'. To open it, you must move the ball to the ram head, within a certain amount of time.If the door is green colored, it'll not hurt you in case you didn't moved fast enough the ball.
Curse episodes got mummies(left) , evil pipsqueaks (second from left), wizards (middle) The Wormdemon (second from the right.worthy of note that the WormDemon is invincible, if you see it run away immediately!) The question mark is the biggest boss in the Necropolises of Curse. Well not the questionmark itself, but I won't show you the final boss. it'll be too shocking for everyone.
This is quite a feature! While other games try to kill the player with lava and acid (or water), Curse
episodes doing the same, but with worms.Yummy! Yummy! That's all. And again, about the release: Curse episodes will not be available on May 18th here, watch FilePlanet for an announcement.
