Brutal Doom v21 Gold was released on May 17 2019, but I only had the time to make a trailer for it just now.
I was unable to show all the new features of this update on this trailer which plays a 3 minute song by Andrew Hulshult. If I were to make a trailer listing every new feature that has been added from v20b to v21 I would probably need to use a Dream Theather album. So make sure you check the changelog, and visit the other videos on my channel, and other news articles on Moddb related to this mod.
Extermination Day (formerly known as Hell on Earth Starter Pack) is not finished yet, might take some more months. By the time Eday comes out, you can also expect a v21b release of Brutal Doom to fix bugs that might be found on this version.
For right now, I will focus my efforts on a new version of the "monsters only" edition.

SPEAKING OF BUGS: If you drop the Plasma Rifle and don't pick it up again, the Assault Rifle will do the Plasma Rifle kill effect on headshots instead.
goodie now i have to take every tinker i made for the previous version and copy/paste it into this one XD (gun modes etc.)

Finally installed and played today for several hours. Don't understand all the complaints about bugs and balance. For me, it feels just perfect. He added just the weapons that were missing (high-tier shotgun, proper machinegun to take place of the original chaingun which now serves different purpose, SMG for dual wielding awesomeness, proper flamer, "sniper" railgun.. just what I was missing in the last version). I enjoy this game much more then Doom 2016 for some reason (many reasons actually.. it's just better in most ways).
Waiting for the final release of Extermination Day.

awesome mod though I found a bit of a bug, most weapons start auto firing by themselves, mostly the automatic weapons and the shotgun and rocket launcher, the rest work perfectly.
I hope there's a fix for this bug, it seems to show up on both GZDoom and Zandronium.
I had the same thing happen on my end as well. Not just GZDoom and Zandronum, but it also pops up on LZDoom as well.
The manual says two ways to install the mod (drag/drop and bat file) but honestly I think it's easier to create a shortcut file to GZDoom and add "-file brutalv21.pk3" on the Target field in the Properties menu.

I've just noticed that when you chop off a Nazi head in the Wolfenstein Bonus level, it uses the same zombie head from the Doom Sprites... I hope u can maybe fix this.

in e3m4 there is a room with 2 cacodemons with a little gap and if you chrouch jump you get stuck. just pointing it out

just ******* wow man you think they cant make brutal doom any better....boy arent we wrong they explode more better with actuate blood splats everything you'd think would realistically he'd do in a hellish planet is there and with a female voice option........straight out murders the download button in half lol

My word i've not ever asked this before I never knew what it was but it always bothered me that the invisibility orb made MY weapons disappear. I really really wish this could be turned on and off Please anyone ! Am I alone in being bothered by the invisible weapons? ahhh anyhow I am just rantin' thanks for reading!

Thanx for the Best mod ever made, and for the controversy that surrounds it! You are THE MAN, Keep up the good work! I love that every time I play it people get so butthurt. They just hate ya cause they ain't ya! This is my go to mod for a good time! And it's a good time every time! Where most mods miss a mark somewhere, your is truly hands down the best! I can't wait for any future updates, I'm always checking, every time I play it, Cause I want to experience every second of it!
After discovering Doom and Doom2 this year when Doom Eternal would not play on my hunk of PC garbage, Doom 1 and Doom 2 where there to make me dive into a new obsession! And once i discovered the landfill of mods it had, well shoot, I was hooked! And when i saw gameplay of your mod... No joke, only took me less than 30 seconds; I stopped the video, and hunted it down just to experience the goldmine known as brutal Doom!
