The team at zombiehorde.com are proud to present Zombie Horde v1.0, the often imitated premier Zombification plugin for Counter-Strike Source.
Since April 2005 we have been bringing the zombies to the Counter Strike scene for all to enjoy, this release is the culmination of two years work, and is vastly improved for better performance and greater compatibility with all server types.
At long last we have hit the 1.0 milestone. Like the undead, Zombie Horde has once again been resurrected to fight another day. After a long time of no updates, we are excited to release not only the Source Metamod versions of this great plugin, but also long sought after windows versions too!
Zombie Horde v1.0 features:
* Windows support
* Metamod:Source support (recommended)
* Major code overhaul and restructure by our new lead programmer, electronaut
* New 'Ghost' character...ride the lightning!
* Powerups
* Team balancer (to prevent zombie stacking)
* Player statistics
* In-built weapon restrictions
* Innumerable bug fixes
* New maps: zh_dark_cbbl_48 and zh_laststand_final
This game is incredibly fun, so if you like a competitive co-operative multiplayer experience....and love popping the heads off zombies, then get your server admin to install ZH or even set up your own LAN server and get cracking!

Can someone please help me with this, i jus bought css today, especialy to play this, but i cant seem to grasp how to install and use etc. with half life 2 its a drag the mod folder to the floder labeled "sourcemods" and play, but this had a whole list of instructions :S :S its confusing me lol, someone please help !!
Well it most likely has to do with the fact that Zombie Horde was released for play. NMRiH is still busy working on a playable version for their testing team and until they turn out the proper AI have some of the same issues that Zombie Horde has (basic CS bots). NMRiH looks great when you look at the Media selection but until everything is in game and people are able to see it in play I doubt it will receive a better score or atleast i'd be suprised if it did. Same goes for all unreleased mods including my own Zombie Panic: Source :P

are you by any chance running on windows and trying to get the 0.3.0 or 0.3.1g version to work, cause if so, the part about it being linux only in the release notes should mean something to u....
How can i make that the script always make at the start of a round that the Zombie's have 500HP, because the only thing the .cfg does is adding Bots and changing some mp_ & sv_ commands!!!

:P seasoned zombie from the official server, this mod is the greatest thing since i learnt to breathe. open www.game-monitor.com search word zombie in cs:s catagory and find a horde of blood thirsty brain craving zombies near you!
Who doesnt like zombies? and if you say you dont, your a filthy liar and i dont think we can ever be friends.
I firstly would say yes this is good.
I couldnt see other players all i got was a error message.
However secondly i would like to point out its quite hard if there isnt a large amount of players on the CT team.
The zombies have 450-500 health which is a lot.
Lastly if you know how to exploit the levels ie barricade your self into a room using barrels or pallets this game becomes fun but easy.
This mod is great but if you made some new maps that allowed players to using their surrounding to their advantage eg barricade themselves into a house etc the mod would be amazing.
might want to rethink thatstatement...
