So is it just impassible terrain or can you actually go over it and probably die/get damaged?
Its impassable. I don't think it'd be fun for units to just walk to their deaths like that, not to mention doing it would have some performance impact.
Wait, does that mean there is no lava logic for the original game or with ares?
