Fight in rain soaked trenches or charge over No Man’s Land to battle in the War to End All Wars. Use authentic weaponry in your fight with the enemy, call in artillery strikes to take out foes en masse, and coordinate with your team to gain the final victory on some of the most infamous battlefields of The Great War. Screaming Steel: 1914-1918, previously known as WW1: Source is a total-conversion project being developed by devoted modders for the FPS game Day of Infamy.

It's "Springfield" or, well, more correctly the M1903 Springfield. If the US were to be included, they would be better served with an M1917 Enfield, since more US troops used the M1917 in the First World War than the M1903 (there were just more of them about, being originally a British design called the P-14. Not to be confused with the Lee-Enfield SMLE though, different weapon entirely).

I wouldn't be against the US being featured, but I'd rather see the French or even the Turks (Mesopotamia, or if you want to stick to trench warfare, Gallipoli) before the US, since both had a far larger role in the war than the US. Sorry, but the US was very much a late comer to the First World War.
