Yes Im one crazy wolf. As I was about to give up a coder out of the woods showed up and touched up the Half-Life code of Water Wars. He cant finish it and it has inspired me to try with Half-Life once more. We only need these things to make this happen!
Coder
Modeler/animator
Mapper
Water Wars is for the kid inside of you still. Remembering the good old days of Super Soaker fights. If you still play with Super Soakers than this is the Mod for you.
This is a simple Blue Team vs Red Team crazy but fun mod for anyone to download and try real soon. Below are the Blue Team and Red Team for you to look at and get the basic idea behind Water Wars.
Be ready to get wet and stay wet or die trying to stay dry!

Water Wars is no longer for HL or HL2. We have changed to Darkplaces and Carni is our new coder!
If you model and understand "MD3" and if you are a mapper who understands QK then lets talk.

i heard on phl you guys are looking for beta testers???
Schwae, darkplaces...
All Half-Life1 maps and most stock HL entities will remain intact in the conversion. Although all HL1 models will be converted over to QuakeIII (.md3) models and all textures for those models to either .jpg or .tga
Sounds will be in .wav and/or .ogg format (preferably .ogg for better compression)
Any existing animations will have to be scrapt due to the conversion of model formats.
Unfortunately the HL2 content (well, most of it) will most likely not be used. We are reverting back to use Half-Life1 content in the spirit of compatibility.
do you just need to compile the maps, or make them totaly new?
Never gives up. :D I remember the screenshots of old, looked brilliant.
Thats the spirity Carni. :D haven't talked to you for awhile. :O
Because the lack of coders nevermind good coders is astounding. BlueWolf72 would rather get the mod released and have people play it then have it sit on his ftp for all his work to collect dust.
Why move from HL2...
keep it alive. :O
