Hey will you add new units? I am using jarl birger's submod and it has many new units, a wider unit tree and mercenaries like ruglud's orcs, many ogres, savage orcs....

There aren't going to be new units but directly new factions, three new factions and new mercenaries will come together with them :D

Are you telling me, That i'm not going to lose the army of 130 men that took me a lot of time and money to get, trying to take one dwarf castle?

Well, it also depends on how you approach the battle, but it should lessen the losses anyway :)

Slow and heavy units tanking against armor piercing bullets it's not very good unless you have a fireline of your own to cover their movements.....which the Chaos doesn't have :D

Try mixing Mid/Heavy Armored Marauders and Chaos Warriors to obtain a "two speeds" effect, with Marauders being more agile than the Tin Cans Of Doom And Gore and still able to take a good dose of beating before dying while the Chaos Warriors would serve as your mowers of enemies as SUPAH HEVEE INFUNTREE.

This should do your job, but you can always experiment new possible tactics on your own......you have to, in the end, that's the purpose of the game ;)

Whenever i do mix it up i usually get Elven phoenix guards with elven bowmen so my chaos dudes can survive a little longer :D

You could also hire some mercenaries like Ogres, and put them to extreme use as frontline shock troopers to create panic between your enemies and tear a hole through their defenses, creating a good entrance/impact point for your troops to utterly shatter their lines :)

I was a dwarf, and was at another Dwarven castle. There was another lord with me, and we only had 159 units. The enemy, however, had 830+ Orks. We lost...but they walked away with 700 less men then they came with.

Will Nordland, the Borderprinces, Tilea and Estalia be done soon? If you need unit ideas, here. issuu.com/m4cr1ii3n?

they said they're not doing Tilea and Estalia, too fractioned to work in the WB system unfortunately. Norsca will be in, Nordland is a part of the Empire.

Tilea and Estalia won't be in the mod, their place on the map has been filled by Beastmen for Estalia and the fictional Pirate Kingdom for Tilea.

Nordland is an Imperial county....so it'll remain under Imperial command.

Border Princes is a veeeeery little faction, so if iot's going to be in the mod, it'll come after the major factions.

Factions being in the mod or not is also based on the time required to create them and everything developement related, because if it was easy to do we would be more than happy to create a full scale Warhammer universe replica.....but we still have to withstand the limits of the game (this is a mod) and its coding :)

I like how you solved "Tilea" with the Pirate faction btw.
Maybe if you don't put in minor factions like the Border Princes or Estalia, you can have them represented in the game via a few merc or rogue units. Saves you guys trouble from creating entire troop trees but still gives the missing factions a small representation in the game. So it feels less like something is missing (as done before with some of your merc units).

Of course there will be a representation force of mercenaries for minor factions at some point in the future, but as of now the Team is focusing on the "macro" aspects of the mod (new factions, new scenes, bug solving, major features, ecc.) before worrying about the "micro" ones :)
