Currently in Early Production. This mod will feature 11 Races. (If possible), With subraces, if time and skill permits. Each race will incorporate a vast navy and army, including all land units from the appropriate Warhammer 40k codexes, (This will be a close to codex mod), and a mixed array of navy units ranging from small fighters to Battlecruisers, with units unique to each race. Each race will also feature its own buildings, to be similar to those from the Dawn of War series, along with their own heroes and weaponsets. The Starmap for EAW will be completely replaced by a WH40k starmap, along with new planet mapping to reflect the WH40k scenery, and hopefully new User interfaces.

Thanks guys :D, cannot wait to see what you guys do with it, also I'm sure it could be hacked apart as a partial base for the grand cruiser as well :D.

Coolnes in the air! ..Or in space.. Whatever. 40k themed homeworld mod would be just awesome! Maybe one day... :D What program did you use for UV-mapping btw?

Haha thanks Zak, I'm also glad someone else agrees with me on Homeworld 2!, as for UV Mapping it was 3D max 9

HorribleGoat Mar 17 2011 replied:

Haha, definitely! I haven't used 3dmax almost at all, but you do great work with it! Just as a thought tho you might like 3dCoat for texturing! It's what I use and quite frankly don't know what I'd do without. :D

Finally far to late for my liking is the last of my Cruiser renders for you all, this is the body and all related weapon platforms and add on pieces that would allow any combination required to make the cruisers and heavy cruisers for the game.

In addition they are all fully UV mapped (my god it was a learning curve) and a friend of mine put together a block texture to show some colour on them finally :D.

As such this is my work done on the model and for the mod as I have other things to do, I wish the team all the best, thanks for looking.

P.S. In the back is a complete Styx.
