Warfield:Unnamed War is a fps game.It has vehicles,large and small maps,good gamemods and nice special powers for the team(artillery strike etc.).The game takes player in the year 2012,when the soviet party wins the election in russia.And suddenly the earth is burning again,China has joined to soviet union war. Nato & Europe have done a new "federation" called "the west army" Usa can't help the europe, their forces are trapped in iraq where the russian army is attacking,And the last thing what Usa expected was china forces in the east coast!
The Intro:
Year 2012:
In russia has been an election,suddenly the soviet party has got the second place,when again democrats have won.Suddenly in a couple weeks, have died democrats leading characters, police dont have any clue.Finaly democrats party population have fallen about 50%. And the soviet party have asked a new election.But the country has rejected it. Suddenly in a week,the minister car has blowed up and the minister in it.Country construed it a warning and have accepted a new election,next morning the whole country leader group have escaped in the europe,knowing what would going to happen.New election happened and the soviet party winned at last. the whole democratic group tryed to escape in Finland and there to France,but the new, rebuilded soviet secret police have arrested them.The world is burning again.
The game is a multiplayer mod for Orange box engine. Want a singleplayer campaing? Dont worry, will be done after the multiplayer release.

What happens now?
The mod will be freezed for a long period of time.
In this time we will learn more things about coding and how all systems, codes etc. really work.
Were giving a lot of more time for our 4 great mappers to learn more advanced things about mapping and what Hammer editor really can do.
Any idea about the restarting date?
We do not have any exact date for the restarting, but were thinking about year 2010-2011.Thats why were abandoning the episode 1 engine already in this stage, because its too old version of source in that time, so atleast were going to use Orange box engine or maybe even ep3 engine if its available in that time, but we'll see what happen in those days.

In this time were afcourse learning a lot of more things about modding and programming, but were not going to forget you guys and thats why were thinking another major mod what we would start in next year and here is a little information about it:

What the **** is up with your map? GB has left the EU along with Ireland. Norway, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova , Switzerland, Turkey and all of the countries of former Yugoslavia have joined. When did turkey leave Cyprus and admit the Armenian genocide? How did a part of Russia ( which lies between Poland a Lithuania) join the EU?
Did i say in anywhere that this is based in real life..? i think not, so the mod will look like what ever we want it to look like, thats why those countries are in the EU etc.
So part of Russia was allowed into the EU, but the main country was left out?
*UPDATE*
A litte update for the mod. As i think that, we dont have any major things to make a real report right now, so i just comment it.
So,
We have changed The Warfield to run in the Orange Box engine, so we can do more larger and better maps.
About the maps,
There is only some Drawed prototypes, but they have been given for our mappers, what we have currently 4. So i think before christmas we get some pictures to show you guys.
Coding,
As i was the only coder in the team, the modding went quite slowly, but in these months i have learned the basics + some harder coding AND.. We got some help from a guy who just came in our developing team.He starts the coding right away when his computer is back home from the repairs.
Gameplay:
Im bored to the hl2 look, as many many more persons are, so yeah as many other mods were trying to get the hl2 look away from this mod.Other things im not going to tell yet, but i can say already that, those things you guys going to like.

That is just a first version(s) of the mod, so no our own models yet. Thats why the same weapons =)
what was the point of the vid?
to show that the mod isnt dead,3 months without any updates.Next month update will replace the Video :O

I just added a new picture of the Mod's main menu, the image have taken from the first playable version, so there is no major changes, image and other information, you can see from the Forums at the News subject =)
