The mod you are trying to view has ceased development and consequently been archived. If you are a member of this mod, can demonstrate that it is being actively developed and will be able to keep this profile up to date with the latest news, images, videos and downloads, please contact us with all details and we will consider its re-activation.
The new story for the mod is simply a tale of paranoia and claustrophobia. I wont go into detail to ruin certain surprises, suffice to say they are unexpected.
The story will be told 'after-the-fact', similar to horror games like Dead Space/Doom3/etc, meaning you will find notes scattered all-around the vault detailing what happened and why. The story is still a WIP(like the vault layout and mod in general), but everything is coming along nicely.
I am also shooting for a very surprising ending & a decent reward for completing the quest, possibly an extremely useful, but not godly new item(item, not weapon). There probably wont be any voice-overs in the form of holocron recordings, but I will work on getting all notes very emotionally intensive. This mod will also be quite linear(in comparison to F3) to tell a much more chronological story and make it scarier with scripting.
This is also a very adult-themed mod, no nudity or anything useless, but lots of curse words and slander and other unsightly things.
Apocalyptica is also possibly going to be a series of wasteland adventures with many themes. I have yet to decide whether or not I will continue past this first chapter once complete, but I suppose if this gets enough positive response, then why not?
If you are interested in helping me out with the Apocalyptica series(this is a project meant to be fun and casual rather than a major 'constantly work on it' modification) then please drop me a line. I will be doing the level layouts, sound & story writing, but any help with those and someone with decent scripting experience will be more than welcome to join me.
Please keep an eye on this as I am bound-determined to make a good mod and help keep F3 alive.
I have re-thought the entire scenario for this mod and am currently seeking people with some extra time and interest in developing a series of well made quests with some custom content to keep the Fallout 3 world alive for the community.
I am currently the only person working on the project but anyone with knowledge of any of the following fields is welcome to join:
-Scripting
-Quest Scripting
-Layout Design(interiors and world exteriors)
Feel free to drop me a line if you are interested in helping out.
This is an update of info/pics of the new changes I made to the vault(as I stated the other pics were out of date and I couldnt access the newer .esp...
Umm... You do know there ARE only 122 Vaults alltogether so there CAN'T be a Vault 211. Just pointing it out though...
only 122 in washington d.c. might have been more cause it had been like 200 years and some things can be forgotten~Bosco596
They could have made them with whatever number they want ;P you never know
Anyway we need more outside citys, vaults are cramped and make me sad and depressed

I am loving it! Hope I get to hit ESC from being scared like Doom 3 lol, love the story line.
Nice, I just frikin like Fallout 3 and horror\survival theme! Cant wait to try this mod
Great Idea, I like the concept you've put forth.
The only thing I'm concerned is that fallout might need to be modified heavily to give the player a sense of horror and vulnerability. Because everything in fallout is given a twinge of irony and humor, from the combat to the atmosphere. So changing that might be a bit harder than you'd imagine.
Id suggest doing something like disabling the Inventory and vats. Making the player only able to hold 1 weapon. Making the weapons have very low durability and ammo. Making it melee oriented, and maybe disabling the aiming reticle.
But those are just suggestions.
Anyway, best of luck to you, and I hope it works out no matter what is done.
Thanks for the suggestions, ill see what I can do.
Will there be any monsters? Say, ghouls for instance? It definitely doesn't need monsters to be horror-themed, I'm just curious. I find the atmosphere with scripted effects can beat out scary monsters in any game.
Well, I do agree... but yes, there will be a ghoul/bloatfly or two here and there. I really need a decent scripter ATM to help out now that most of the layout is done, but while I dig into the scripting tutorials I am working on a classroom that I will release a WIP movie for here soon enough.
