V Corps was reactivated at Camp Beauregard, Louisiana, in October 1940, and took part in the famous Louisiana Maneuvers of 1941. The organization deployed to Ireland after Germany declared war on the United States, providing the first American soldiers and the first army headquarters deployed to the European theater in World War II.V Corps was one of the formations that took part in the D-Day landings, on June 6, 1944. It landed on Omaha Beach with the 1st Infantry Division (United States) and 29th Infantry Division (United States) , and many casualties were suffered there due to the strong German defenses. During the Battle of Normandy, and indeed for almost the whole campaign up to the surrender of Germany, V Corps was assigned to First United States Army. The only exceptions were a brief detachment to Seventh United States Army during the autumn of 1944 and being switched to Third United States Army during the very final days before the enemy surrender.

After laying dormant for sometime we have decided to bring it back. Currently we have 3 on the Dev team. Bobevans8998, Afevis, and RadicalEdward.
At this point we are just finalizing all of our modeling and maps. We are beginning to code the game, iron sights, damage systems.
We are also heading in a bit new of a direction with V-Corps. We've realized that there are quite alot of WW2 Mods and games out there. We're adding a few things that in our official release trailer, may cause some excitement, and questions. All I can tell you, is that it will be like no WW2 game you have ever played.
Hopefully with this news update, we are able to draw the old attention back taht we had. All of us here at BlackGadget Studios apologize for the delay in content and lack to "put out". We hope to draw attention back to our mod and release a beta client sometime around christmas.

You should have the medic class, but more complicated, not just have a med-kit that heals, like a real surgeon kit and IV bottles and that kind of stuff!
How will this game be different from other WW2 games?
well be adding another thing to it which wont be revealed until our trailer release

well be having an open beta hopefully in time for Christmas but at this point were not sure on the exact date

That would be quite helpful, currently we are starting all of our maps. Once they are finished however we will be in need of a good video editor and after effects creator.
so many ww2 mods sheesh. Tell me what makes this mod better and unique than all others like DODS, Resistance and liberation, Darkest hour, COD, and all those others.
