Armed-Combat is a Total Conversion mod for Half Life 2, it consists of a more realistic conflict with real-world weaponry and the player always mostly allies with them that will independently navigate through maps like actual warfare, the enemies only have just slightly lower damage than the player (only 3 or 5 percent less) and npc health is higher to make it more challenging and realistic of an experience.
It consists of a fictional conflict between the United Kingdom and Russia taking place ranging in the years 1999-2004, you and your allies battle your way through eastern europe.
This mod will also have it's own fictional characters and they are not planned yet.

So, basically Armed-Combat is a very recycled title of mine, from a roblox game to a Counter-Strike: Source Mod and then a Multiplayer Half-Life 2 mod into a singleplayer one so 4 projects use that same name. Yes, I was younger when I made this iteration but if enough people want then I could re-release this one and I will choose to make this "Armed-Combat"
I announce that this decision is so you can tell the difference, "Red Hydra" might end up being a
placeholder name for this sequel and this mod may be getting renamed and same for the link.

You made the right decision to reclassify the project as a mod for CSS. Although I think it was worth thinking about this earlier, if the gameplay is + - a modified CS. It's better for you to make your own game based on CSS in this case, IMHO. You will simplify development.
I can see what you mean, but however I don't know where a great css source code repo really is. And this is now a singleplayer mod and if you know where a great place that the css source code is then feel free to tell me, would love to know.
