Unreal Tournament Community SDK is an open source engine fork of the Unreal Engine 1.x with a modern development framework for Unreal Tournament. A thousand delays later we hit rock bottom and infinite possibilites at the same time with this community-propelled engine fork for one of the greatest 3D games of all time. We will never forget nor forgive what Epic Games did on the 14th December 2022.

While I love that people such as your self are still working on older engine, I just have to ask. why not a talent like yours on a newer engine?

Unreal Engine 1 is magic engine. Look on UE2 and uE3 .. are not magic .. Why Tim Sweeney reworked engine 1? Why Steven Polg reworked AI? I dont understand .. :)

@ Sgt, to say it with some words of a previous comment by me:

1. for fun, it's fun being creational
2. most people recognize the old engine to be more beginner friendly than the UDK, even if I'm a fan of the UDK myself
3. Epic Games doesn't do any patches for this fine game...
4. ... so do I, it's not uncommon to do (Oblivion, Stalker, Doom Games)

well, I tip my hat to you. I just feel that this is unappreciated. when ever you update I don't really see much activity from users. I just think it deserves more attention.

Is there any way that this could be ported to Unreal 227? Meaning, is this all done in uScript, or did you need to negotiate with Epic to even get started on this?

But you can play Unreal over UnrealTournament. I did myself a lot of years ago.

Now the bounding volume system supports particle events too! Here you see particles flying towards a volume brush. While they're entrancing they change their color (just a simple example)
