In Cataclysm they were able to cloak

The one in FX Mod can cloak, and they did cloak in HW:C

The question is now: does the AI cloak them ever? My guess is no, but maybe it has the ability to determine usage based on ability, but again since it's in a class that never had any abilities like that would it know to look there, I have yet to see the cloaked fighters turn it's on, of course it doesn't mean it doesn't do it and I just miss it.

Yh i played some of it on original homeworld, are u making gravity well genarator they were awesome. Ud activate it all fighters etc. were not able to do anything then ud send in a salvager corvette to take them to ur mothership.

Maybe but for now the Gravity Well Generator just works as a hyperspace inhibitor.

I saw it happen, an AI squadron of Kushan cloaked fighters cloaked, swarmed a ship and uncloaked to attack.

Description

Top left is a shot of the tri-thruster attack bomber, top right a shot of the Turanic Carrier Frigate facility. Bottom fighters are the new quad-thruster scout with scaled antenna from the Kushan Carrier. Both ships engine modifications were done by cutting the ship, rotate the selection and move some points to close it into the original body. I plan to animate the antenna for the scout to point up and down for a sensor ping (when added).
