Here are the red ion beams, I think they turned out really well (and quite similar to HW1 - not as thick but more realistic). This modification required me to create three textures patterned after the original blue versions and one texture converted from the original Homeworld game. There was about eight scripts to convert and change as well and I also figured out how to change the color/intensity of the beam light & the cast on ship light.
really nice... I would like how ever more a yellow ion beam like in Homeworld Cataclysm.
Still like i said fantastic work red is fine too.

The Kushan had a red ion cannon 23, the Bentusi had yellow ones.
