Almost two weeks ago, we had the release of 6.9. And we are very elated to notice not only went very smoothly, but also is being enjoyed so far!
Of course, the journey does not end here, and thanks to the Community's assistance, we have been able to pinpoint several bugs that indeed missed our eyes. While thankfully, compared to last year's hotfix patch were much less and severe, still were annoying to all and had to be fixed.

However, since here is Unification, we do not just stop here. It has been a great opportunity to add some more content. While not as big as the many, it is enough to warrant the upgrade from a ''hotfix'' to a regular patch. Enter Unification Version 6.9.1.

For your consideration, the changelog file is located here.

Unification Patch 6.9.1 (Zip Archive)

Please note:
- This is only a patch, not the full version. You still need to have Unification 6.9 installed firstly!!!
- As we experienced many issues with the old ''Unification_Patch'' format, especially at fan made addon creation, and because the vanilla aspect of the mod is still kept regardless if the race sgas are loaded, using the corresponding New Units Win Condition, the Unification_New_Races.module is slowly being phased out. Unification_Bugfix will also now launch the race pack while we recommend to use New_Races for adding semi-supported mods, like the Renegade Guard. Their compatibility should be further increased now until their proper implementation in the race pack.
- For anyone installing the mod anew, the Music addon now is fully optional but we still recommend installing it for the full experience.
- For any technical issues, please head to our tech-support and FAQ channels over our Discord or to our Wikia page.

As a thank you, we have added a long requested unit earlier than anticipated(pictured below). However, we won't reveal how you can activate it. That we leave to you to discover. ;)

Congratulations for the update
Even if I don't understand why every women in Unification is beautiful with smooth skin, perfect hair and an anime look...
Really breaks the immersion for me, almost at the point where I feel estranged
Most of the woman in the 40K universe have an average look at best, most of them are war-scarred and rough looking

It's a bit weird isn't it doesn't really fit with 40k not really a fan either but I learn to ignore it the devs can do what they wish it's their mod

That's completely right, I just wrote MY opinion on the matter.

I gather you mean Witch Hunters.

This was already answered when you asked over the Discord and honestly was no need to be posted here.
But anyways, I do not see how this is ''an anime look''. If anything, even the characters that indeed may reference a character from anime(like Yor, who has an entire reason from the server itself why was included) look more realistic and even lack anime characteristics.
On the Witch Hunters case, for years they have had their style. And will remain so. The EC and the SOB also follow suit since again, is the style I have.
Tbh, it is weird to me as a complaint that a woman model is ''too pretty''. But I do accept looks can be subjective same as preferences. And again, is the artstyle and GW themselves have not had an obligatory line on how women should look. Especially the ones that are employed by one of the richest organisations, the Inquisition.

Hey Man... I didn't asked anything on Discord, you are confusing me with someone else
The "anime look" is how the face is modeled, certain lineaments, and as I already wrote before, perfect hair and beautiful skin
You know how highly I think about you as a model creator, but TO ME those models just doesn't feels 40K at all
And no, Sororitas have a completely different feel, they are stylized, not toony
In the end, this is just the way I feel about them, if you think that they lack anime characteristics and that they looks coherent to the 40K style, just ignore me

Your personal preference is noted, respected but will respectfully not be implemented. Just as was mentioned over the VIP channel where you have access to over our server(which in my opinion, would have been a better place for such a discussion-hence why it exists), this is what we offer and this is my artstyle.
You are entitled indeed to what you like the most but so am I and the rest of the devs.
And given we do this out of pure fun and passion(and for free), we do request some understanding on this.
And let's be real for a sec, Sisters, especially Witch Hunters, are always portrayed as ideal, even by GW in looks. Being the Emperor's Daughters and all. But there is a difference between being pretty(which is what we have) and anime. There is a misconception in general that whatever looks pretty like must be anime when in reality, it can even be the opposite. If I truly wanted anime style, I would for starters have everyone with huge eyes, wouldn't I? ;)

P.S. Not our fault GW can't sculpt female heads even if their lives depended on it. ;V

Personally I always see it that people can just headcanon however they feel sisters of battle can be, and I myself like the model work you guys are doing, anyone who has issues with it well...

Just make a damn submod for it then if it bothers you THAT much... No one's holding a gun to you and saying "No, No You can't."

If you prefer ugly women with scraped off skin, play Fallout.

Apparently, women aren't allowed to take care of their skin and of their appearance in general in 40K...

So from now on, you can load the mod by activating "Unification Mod" in the Game Manager instead of "Unification Mod_New_Races" , as it does also now load the new races. Well done! 😊

Is there any chance we'll be seeing more races added such as Iron Warriors for chaos? Since they're more different than most chaos legions and don't use but instead abuse daemonic entities it would be nice to have a more "pure" chaos legion. Based mostly on vehicles and heavy weapons.
