Usage: run the exe or extract it using any zip extraction program inside your Dawn of War Soulstorm folder. Start "unification_campaign_6_92" module.
While playing campaign, make frequent saves with different names. In case of a bug/crash you will have some possibilites to go back to.
Additionally, I've included a test version of "DoW Mod Manager" with additional function of injecting code into Soulstorm executable. If you want to use it, run "DoW Mod Manager v2.4.0.0a" and tick field "UNI_EXT.DLL: Load experimental UNI_EXT.DLL into memory". It will work only with steam version of soulstorm. It's function is to expand possible honour guard and defeated races interface fields, instead of orange rectangles. It also adds experimental commander model support on metamap.
This addon uses its own Campaign Configurator, located inside the unification_campaign_692 folder. Use this to switch the Sisters of Battle to Witch Hunters. Please keep in mind this is still experimental as was never attempted before.
If you want to see movies during campaign, copy content of "DXP2\Movies" folder into "unification_campaign_692\Movies" folder. Don't overwrite "ss_kaurava_intro" file, as there is a minor addition in it :)
Saves from previous version of campaign addon may work, but not guaranteed. If you wish to test it, old saves can be found in "Soulstorm\Profiles\ProfileX\unification_campaign_6.91" folder. Copy them to "Soulstorm\Profiles\ProfileX\unification_campaign_692" folder.
Just to let you know I tested the new UNI_EXT.DLL: Load experimental UNI_EXT.DLL and it didn't work got a pop up with 3 lines last line says writing DLL content to process failed don't know if this is just on my end honour guard still show up as orange squares
UNI_EXT.DLL works only on steam version of Soulstorm.
It has several seconds (around 10) when it tries to locate soulstorm process and load into it. First steam logging can take some time.
Dow mod manager may need admin rights to load data into process memory.
EDIT: Windows defender/antivirus programs may also block code injection.
I will try running dow mod manager in admin,I have the steam version of soulstorm what do I need to do to stop windows defender from blocking the code?
Just turn it off during startup

If it is blocking it, it should appear in "protection history". Check this article for example Pureinfotech.com
So do I need to add The experimental dow mod manger to my exceptions list or another app? Which app specifically is what I'm asking what is the exe file of your code going to be called?
"exe" file will be "Dow mod manager 2.3.1.0b".

you have to run the "DoW Mod Manager v2.3.1.0b".exe in Admin Mode. to do this; right click on the said .exe, select properties, click on the "compatibility" tab on the new pop menu and click the box that says: "Run this program as an administrator"
Yes thank you the author explained this to me already and it does indeed work when run in admin mode I don't even get the error anymore
Very cool, is there a possibility in the future of other race swaps, ie Steel Legion over IG?
I would say this is how it will work where possible I don't know how many races would fit on the campaign list

I get a Fatal Scar Error whenever I attempt to invade the Imperial Guard stronghold. Any fixes?
What race did you attack as?
Tyranids. Sorry I thought I mentioned that in the original post. If it helps at all I can invade the Sisters/Witch Hunters stronghold just fine

I have the exact same problem as you did, how did you fix the IG stronghold level?
Any chance you could make a sub-sub-mod that only adds the extra planet and Tyranids?
Is it possible to increase the number of regions on a planet?
There is no point in doing that tbh.
It is possible to increase number of regions on a planet, but campaign is a bit tedious already.
About only adding tyranids, I'm not interested. It's either all or nothing for me.
A few observations:
Tyranids:
Bone Sword wargear does nothing, your damage(at least tooltip value) stays at 250.
Victory banner says "da Waaagh has conquered"...? lol
IDH:
Demonbane sword DECREASES tooltip damage by at least 33%!
Agustin? Why not Augustin? edit: It is a Spanish version! Maybe adding in that special i? I mean, Craftworld Nagasemai has that Turk double dotted i, so why not? :p
IDH + Demons:
When you capture a zone from each other, the ending on the victory banner is blank. For example, IDH states "You have cleansed "map" of ___"(without underscore, that's simply my gfx representation).

Is it intended that the Commander is unaffected by the Heroes option?
Played as the Tyranids and the Hive Tyrant was not getting any level ups. It didn't even have the regular (1) unit rank. I noticed it only because my Hive Tyrant almost died even though my Genestealers were doing fine (said Genestealers were now super chunky at the time thanks to being Ultra Elite rank).
I haven't tested commanders with "Heroes" option. It will require coding. Probably can be done in the future.

What to play as? Huh, either a meme Boreale campaign or a proper one with Vance Stubbs. Agustin is an option too. Praxedes? Maybe later. Not a fan of anything else tbh.
Where are the movies(for the vanilla factions) located and what do I need to do so I have a proper SM / IG experience?
To display movies you need to manually copy them from "dxp2\movies" folder into "unification_campaign_6.9\movies"
As for proper experience, I don't understand what you mean. It's a work in progress, so things may break down and/or be simply missing.

Now I have another question. When I try to open the campaign module (within
uni campaign folder) it asks me what program to open it with.
What should I use for that ?
Use dow mod manager, but module file shouldn't be inside uni campaign folder. You should extract "unification_campaign" to your "Soulstorm" folder, as written in description.

I actually thought you were working on your own campaign instead of "just" adding more factions to the Soulstorm campaign.
I personally would be happy if I could play the DC campaign with this mod.
We have been clear in all dev blogs of what the first versions would be.
It is not easy ''just'' ending the new races, let alone adding their lore explanation why and expanding the map. What is achieved, while still early, is still huge.
Please excuse that English is not my native language and that I assumed that the modding team is a bit more ambitious. - I guess my optimism got the better of me because of the language barrier.
Apart from that, I'm not so sure if adding more factions is something that an already overloaded campaign really needs. A campaign that, by the way, mainly consists of skirmish battles.
But everyone can of course mod as he or she likes.
Attacking Tyranid Hive Fleet as IG crashes the game.

Can you actually finish the campaign in the current state?
Some people reported those strongholds run. For others they crash. I would say there's a good chance you won't be able to finish.
