Anyway, these guys are happening.
finally we get some Gue'vesa!
now i can cosplay as the GDI in DOW!
Technically speaking, 6.9 already has three cases of Gue'vesa in already. ;)

Late reply but kinda so was the above: I think they primarily mean the Imperial Guard army skins, they're also in the works for non-Farsight Tau I think.
I have both GDI & NOD schemes for practically ALL races, already.

We had confirmed it months ago but was not meant for 6.9. It is for the future.
Do we have a possible timeline for this, or is it a far future update?
We hope for 7.0. Which unfortunately means not soon. :(
Will we be able to use them as tier 1 units?
They will be the capper squad for the Enclaves. Like how the Stealth Warriors are for normal Tau.
