I think it looks less goofy, I approve.
Looks definitely better than a default Dreadknight, though I'd argue it's a bit TOO similar to that of a Dreadnought.
There's other designs of the Dreadknight that look more unique, such as these if you wanna check em out:

But otherwise, it looks WAY less goofy and impractical than a typical Dreadknight! =)
