So burguois/ddraig is unlikely to be back anytime soon. It is not due to drama but personal matters on his end that I don't want to go into. I'll just say that he's in my thoughts and I hope we can all wish him well.
In terms of the mod, this means we no longer have: A) an LUA scripter, B) The man I credit with turning this from a simple weapons mod into something much, much different.
Unfortunately, without him, we are going to have to scale back in some areas.
To make up for this, and also to show some things off, I am going to be releasing a mod for Call of Chernobyl, called "RadCOC", which will contain some Radium features, and some new weapons too, and will be available soonish. Please note however that I am unwilling and unable to keep up with each new COC release, which is why I will release any necessary code along with it so people can update it on their own for upcoming versions.
This, I also feel, is enough of a compromise that I feel I can buy a little more time to work on the main mod.
Sad news, mate. I hope that things are not too serious with ddraig. My best wishes both to him and you, and for the future of this mod!
So, what exactly will those feautures be ?
This is very cool, thanks! Getting the code out sooner is something every long-term mod should do .
I hope things improve for ddraig.
Isn't that going to be a lot of work? But I can understand the point of doing that so you still have a complete work in some regard.
RadCOC sounds like a nice name. Makes you think twice before downloading the mod.
Sorry to read such news about Burgois. I wish the best for him.
I'm really eager to play RadCoC, as I have seen many amazing features in Radium in the past.
Your weapon list is also something really interesting, knowing your quality requirements and what I have seen so far.
Releasing such an addon will surely give the interest witch the community should have about Radium.
Anyway, keep up the good work. I really wish for the mod to be released in a near future.
