Ultimate Empire at War is a conversion of Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It aims to include four eras of Star Wars history: the Age of the Old Republic, the Clone Wars, the Galactic Civil War, and the Dawn of the New Republic in an re-created game that is more engaging on both the tactical and strategic level, enhancing gameplay and deepening it, as well as overhauling the graphics in the game. In short - EaW the way it was meant to be - spanning Star Wars history in a deeply strategic game with high quality graphics and challenging gameplay.

For some reason, the contrast has been lowered on the preview image... The view original shows the reflective surface of the vessel more, it seems.

In this picture the bridge area has been hit by enemy fire; it's blackened and charred.

These were unrefined projectiles; already since then they've been greatly improved. Will get some shots of some soon, I hope - and if you're lucky, some of the high detail explosions too :D

Yes, light damage. You should see the graphics we've got on ships that are on the point of going down ;).

Description

This isn't posted because it's particularly intriguing, but rather because it shows two things:

A) Our pretty new Acclamator, here her shields have been brought down by enemy fire already, and she's taking evasive manoeuvres on the edge of combat, showing some light damage and just being impacted on the starboard at the rear by a turbolaser as she pulls away. All particles are new and even shield and hull impacts of weapons have their own explosions and effects, specific to what the weapon is that is hitting it, the calibre etc.

B) Yes, this is a shot from in-game. We're approaching alpha testing capability, as we're beginning to get content running, and with much of our enhanced particulate graphics already made, many things can be viewed in-engine properly now.
