Terran Special Operation Force is a Third Person Shooter mod for StarCraft II, which takes the player into the role of a Ghost operative of the Terran Dominion.

We are still working on the Storyline, so expect more details after the release of StarCraftII: Wings of Liberty, since we don't want our story to be in conflict with the Story of the Campaign.

Terran Special Operation Force is now officially under development again, like we promised, when we stopped development of the WarCraftIII version of this Mod.

It took a little longer than we expected, since the release of StarCraftII was postponed, but now that the editor is out we immediatly started to create our first Shooter Controls for StarCraftII to see what the editor is captable of. And we were quite impressed.
(It doesn't mean that we did nothing at all after we stopped the development on the WCIII version)

You can expect some updates and first screenshots and videos from our Testmap, where our systems are tested, to be here soon.

So now it's official: Terran Special Operation Force is now under development.

Any chance you could use the high poly model that Malu uses in his maps? Also for Hell_Ya's TPS tutorial you posted, there's no strafe, which I'm sure for a few people could be somewhat annoying.

As far as I know and from what I've seen from malu, he uses the standard stuff from StarCraft II mixed with some of the storymode models.
My Computer is only able to run StarCraft II on medium settings. That's why everything has lower quality and I can't record movies ingame.
We're planning to make a lot of custom assets. You can expect those to be optimized to look great in Third Person.

And BTW: malu and TKC joined our team, but they will also keep working on Project Vector.

I think I will be writing a news to cover everything that has happened with the development this mod.

BTW I forgot to mention that you can see a older version of the mod in action when you watch ModCraft ep 2. Livestream.com or Forums.sc2mapster.com
Both hosts (Xaragoth and Otixa) are also working on this project.
