I should make a meme picture for these kind of mods saying „I don’t always vote 10/10 for a mod, but when I do, it’s better then a commercial game”. Some of you may heard of this mod. I can only compare it to the indie version of Dear Esther. You just hop into a beautiful but creepy world. Both of them are telling you a story in a unique way. You are dreaming, but not really sure if it’s real or not…but anyway, you going to go with the flow. You start exploring the world, you going to listen to the inner voice, and you find yourself in a mystery.
It’s kind of hard to describe the mod without telling spoilers, so i’m gonna provide you guys a download link, and a youtube video (if you don’t have Crysis). This video is the really short demo they have just released, but if you want to see the whole mod which was released before with a longer story, heres a link for it. Unfortunately you can’t download it anymore, because as C-zom mentioned: the game story has changed a bit, and that release is not by any means similar to the final release.People who installed the mod with desura, and Crysis won’t load it: go to the mods dir, and fix the installation directory, because it’s probably just in a double dir Crysis\Mods\Triptych\Triptych. Not a big deal, must have been already fixed.
