Firstly I would like to express many thanks to megabalta, who has kindly provided some awesome new phaser beam projectiles for this mod, cheers. :)
These new beams are a big step up over the ones from the first incarnation of this mod and I know that there are plenty of hardcore Trek fans who have been drooling over screenshots of the Yuuzhan Vong at War mod, which also features megabalta's beams.

In other news work on adding the Klingon ships into the game is steady, for testing purposes I have been building them from the Federation side. Once all ships and Starbases are in and working I will add the necessary race files. The Klingons will have access to three hero units, Chancellor Gowron (Vor'cha class), General Martok (Negh'var class, which will also have a cloaking device) and Captain Kurn (K'vort class).
I plan to work on a Klingon HUD, however I note that the game only supports three HUDS (the default ones) and that the Federation HUD is a retextured Consortium HUD. I do however have an idea, once the mod is done I would like to have a dedicated launcher for it (like Republic at War) and have a pre-boot menu giving the player an option on which HUD they would like to load, with a choice of Consortium, Federation, Klingon and then eventually the Dominion and Romulans.
