I haven't used these in combat very much, and I can't remember right now, but they're supposed to have a good amount of photons, right? Either way, great model! Just as amazing as all the rest!
I happened to tried to have 2 of them inside my fleet.
They are supposed to have Pulsephasers and Photon Torpedos, yet I haven't seen them using their Torpedos.
Oh and their Pulsephasers are only strong against Fighters and don't even harm ships like the good old corellian corvette or bigger.
Therefore they aren't useful after all.^^
They should be armed with strip phasers and photon torpedoes. In alot of cases they're also armed with quantum torpedoes. Perhaps an upgrade option in 2.0?
yeah, the Akira had Phaser belts on the top and bottom of the dish, and one on each neacell pylon. It was also supposed to have about 8 forward firing torpedo tubes and 4 aft.
