This mod will add new units to your supreme commander Forged Alliance game. This mod can be played in both single player and multiplayer. All my units will have Sorian AI support.

Original 4DC did this too. Removed in 4DC Compatibility for reasons though. Might cause compatibility issues.

i hate the look of the cybran paving. the black pads are cool but the scratches on the ground are kinda dumb. i support the idea of tarmacs.

also, now that were on the topic of base construction, would it be possible to angle buildings? i dont really like how all the structures and stuff are built facing down. if you think about it, its a little odd how even the enemy structues, no matter what point they are defending, are at the same EXACT angles as your own are.

my idea is to let players choose the angle they point at instead of having them all look the same. i LOVE the idea of having a tidy base but it would also be nice to be able to angle the structures in the direction you want. the same idea with how you can hold down the right click and have the units face that direction. an enemy above you does not have to turn his artillery or units around, where as your artillery has to do a complete 180.

shortly, woo tarmac, but let us angle the structures.

are you still considering making factories mobile? a nice twist to the game would be to make an individual fatboy for air and naval units instead of having the naval factory. giving factories mobility as a vet upgrade or really expensive manual upgrade would be ideal too.

something tells me all that would be rather hard to code.

Im unable to make buildings rotateable, the coding for that is to advanced for me.
Also, mobile factories are a cool idea, but Im not going to make them because of AI problems.

I just spawned a novacat mk1 and a novacat mk2 next to eachother, and the mk1 killed the mk2. :'(

wait so the novacat mk2 is supposed to be the mayhems equal, where as the hades is supposed to be the avalanches equal? i was hoping for some beefed up version of the czar for aeon or some kind of giant eyeball with tentacles.

no no, novacat isnt really equaled up to a mayhem. The Hades was supposed to battle avalanche and doomsday, but the idea got scrapped once I got it ingame. It just didnt look tough enough to battle those monsters. So Aeon still misses a superunit. However, the Hades is still good!

yes, it would. but then I would have to edit vanilla units, and it could cause incompabilities with other mods :(

I have a strange thing that all my tarmacs (including those spawned by actual buildings) are ust plain black since a while back in my game, even when i deactivate this mod.
Any idea whats causing this? :s i have no idea who else to ask xD

i would love this, feel the same about the tarmac, just no easy way of getting it around a base : /

Description

So, I came upon an idea of having more open tarmac areas in my base, so I made this buildable tarmac. Anyone else who likes building real-looking bases? Should I put in tarmacs in next release? They sure look sweet once you build a big base!
