Total Mayhem takes Total Annihilation, bugfixes and extends it the way Cavedog might have. Early game pace is quicker, many new units added (longtime players may recognise some 3rd-party units), including a whole new 3rd tech level tier. Existing and added units have been bugfixed, rebalanced, re-modeled, re-textured and re-rendered to equal or exceed the standard of the original TA units.

Here it is folks... The newest version of the epic mod known as Total Mayhem.The stars of beta 6.4 are the new long-range rapid-fire kbots Arm Shiva and Core Defiler. Many legs and many barrels, with scripting that allows for tilting of the legs on slopes while the turret stays level, and legs that stay still while the body rocks when firing the long-range cannon... They are a sight to behold.

Loads of tweaks have been done, improved models and buildpics for lots of units.The MAJOR thing to note is that the install has been greatly simplified:- all data files have been combined into one (rev31.gp3)- original 3.1 patch data has been included so you don't need to keep the original file in your TA folder anymore.

I've also added Xpoy's new dll + totala.ini to download. When you run the installer, will be installed and your existing totala.ini and ddraw.dll renamed to .bak to back them up if you have them. This will unlimit your TA sound and pathfinding, fix alt-tab crashing, along with a bunch of other gameplay features - see this thread for more info.
