Total Mayhem takes Total Annihilation, bugfixes and extends it the way Cavedog might have. Early game pace is quicker, many new units added (longtime players may recognise some 3rd-party units), including a whole new 3rd tech level tier. Existing and added units have been bugfixed, rebalanced, re-modeled, re-textured and re-rendered to equal or exceed the standard of the original TA units.

It's been 9 years since the last version of the Arm Spider Pack by TA-Power. The development of the new Core Tortoise Pack inspired me to revisit it. By the standards of the day it's a great pack - but standards of modelling are higher these days and we're fussier ;) and of course there's always room for improvement.

The new Spider Pack will include less ancilliary specialist units (no more resurrection spider or minelayer) and more battle units - including an artillery crawler, and a big dual-weapon monster. Not going too overboard, just to spice things up a little. ;)

ALL models are being revamped, almost all entirely from scratch, including the model for the Spider Lab that builds them all. Exciting times!

Contributions from M1Garland, Doombowser, Zippo, PlasmoidThunder, Flame599596 and gamma are making this happen, along with some input from the original creator of the Arm Spider Pack Silencer of TA-Power.

The project is due for completion next month, August 2012. You can view preview models in the images list on the Total Mayhem ModDB page.
