For those unfamiliar with TA: Escalation (TA:ESC), we like to think of our effort as a production quality expansion to Total Annihilation which can be enjoyed in both Skirmish and Multiplayer settings. TA:ESC offers significant enhancements to the venerable TA gaming engine, including Cavedog quality models, textures, and presentation - a feat claimed by many, but realized by none; new GUI and extended menus; unique upgrading system for defenses and resources; deflective Shield Generators; mass unit Teleportation Gates; automated mass loading and unloading transports; Multi-Unit-Air-Transports; proximity bonuses for adjacent Fusions and Energy Storages; Surfaceable subs; walking ships; Omni Intel Towers capable of massive radar, jamming, LOS, targeting, and Commander hacking; and much, much more!

Description

The TA:Esc team has been working hard coming up units with new and innovative roles for TA:Escalation. We thought to ourselves, what says innovation and TA:Escalation better than a giant cannon? Although TA:Escalation already have T3 and T4 LRPC and nuclear cannons such as the B.F.G. (also new in the next public release as well), we feel they are simply not big enough. With new developments such as Xpoy's rendering size-increasing hack, we are able to push unit sizes to unprecedented levels, As such, the TA:Escalation team is proud to present to you the crown prince of all TA modding: the Arm Impaler Cannon.

This colossal one-eyed snake has enough range to spray its load across any map, and the John's Pond-sized impact area will be covered in a rain of devastation - no unit can survive even a glancing hit. However, because the Impaler is so voluminous, it might be difficult to find a region wide enough to fit it. Since you cannot last long against the Impaler, your only recourse against your opponent's massive ace in the hole is to destroy it before the he can complete the titanic cannon's erection.
