For those unfamiliar with TA: Escalation (TA:ESC), we like to think of our effort as a production quality expansion to Total Annihilation which can be enjoyed in both Skirmish and Multiplayer settings. TA:ESC offers significant enhancements to the venerable TA gaming engine, including Cavedog quality models, textures, and presentation - a feat claimed by many, but realized by none; new GUI and extended menus; unique upgrading system for defenses and resources; deflective Shield Generators; mass unit Teleportation Gates; automated mass loading and unloading transports; Multi-Unit-Air-Transports; proximity bonuses for adjacent Fusions and Energy Storages; Surfaceable subs; walking ships; Omni Intel Towers capable of massive radar, jamming, LOS, targeting, and Commander hacking; and much, much more!

two things, one, words cannot describe how epic those reactors are...i remember ta being low in detail...this is bringing 2d strategic gaming back to life...

and secondly, im the kind of person who likes maps so big that even the longest range weapons are defensive.

i love the idea of pipes, but im asking if there is a way to make maps bigger than 63x63? if so, id enjoy a massive metal swamp map with ruined buildings everywhere. i like the maps that give you the ability to hide behind stuff, but their always close quarters maps.

and if you can, id like it if the artillery would only fire at ground units...i hate playing boxy seas with a wall of wrtillery sitting on the walls when an aircraft comes in and they fire at it.

if you could make a map for free time, make a map thats like a sunken core city. its got buildings and stuff sticking out of the water that make it look cool while still being able to hide behind, some areas are deep enough for capital ships, and some are shallow enough for ground units, while still having enough land area to build large bases.
