Tiberium Secrets was a C&C3; mod that was developed from 2011-2020. Our vision was to create a future for the Command & Conquer universe. We had 3 new factions planned, and managed to release 1/3 of our planned content. We scoped too big, and unfortunately needed to cancel the other 2 new factions. These included novel mechanics, lore, and IP. etc. Development has been sign sealed, and delivered. All that is required to play the ASI is a working copy of C&C3;: Tiberiumn Wars. All of the content is FREE! Of Charge. Explore to your hearts content! Love it or hate it, all things must end, so new things can grow.

Here are some new ideas for troops for the ASI. This post will probably be pretty long.

1. Basic infantry. Built from a machine processing plant, not a barracks. These basic warriors could be mass produced to form armies. They will be more powerful and harder to kill, but one aspect I would like to point out to possibly help weigh the unit is each robotic soldier slightly takes away from the players power. The ASI try to conquer by their technology. They don't waste any resources designing a pretty looking unit, but a lethal weapon.
Armament - thick metal endoskeleton for defense with either a machine gun or a small pulse laser weapon. I largely love the idea of mass production of terminator series models. I havnt discussed the idea of this vehicle, but I would love to see a vehicle be able to be constructed to go out on the battlefield and deploy a small army of these basic infantry. When these basic infantry fight next to each other it is in an organized, methodical pattern. They can attack some air craft but do medium to little damage. The price will be more expensive than an average troop to build, but will also win against humans with HP remaining. They can have a sprint feature but walk relatively slow otherwise. They have removable blades embedded in their back which can be used to decapitate a soldier. Heres some ideas from a familiar series. The first picture below is my favorite idea for this basic soldier. The overall look and design, as well as originality. The first is the key in my opinion.

2. Reflective morphosis unit
Idea: More expensive units that infiltrate the enemy base. When walking up to infantry, they take the shape of an exact replica or the enemy fighting the unit. The unit on the battlefield would be shocked seeing its reflection, and be tricked. As the morphosis unit takes form of its enemy, its walk slows down. As the unit is dazed, the unit proceeds to walk up to the enemy, choking it to death. This trick possibly wouldnt work on colony units since they dont really have weak minds like the humans. These units would have average health, cannot attack tanks or air craft and would be in effective against other robotics.

3. The heavy unit
Idea: This trooper would shoot at tanks and air craft. It would slow down and shoot a fletchette like fast boomerang at its target. Upon getting near its target, the fletchette would explode.

4. The leader of the ASI robotics system
This unit would be the "commando/ colonel burton" type unit. The unit would be able to take rounds and rounds of bullet fire, and would have a system installed inside to release invisible drones around the skeleton to constantly heal it. (Fancy story for it being able to heal itself). This leader could probably take 3 shots from a medium large tank. The healing process would be slow though. When in formation with other ASI troops, the leader assumes center position in the precise formation. This unit could sabotage bases. It would have a new type weapon called black hole charges. If an aircraft were to fly by, this leader would throw a grenade like charge up into the air. The charge wouldnt have to hit the aircraft, just fly up in the air near it. Upon detonation, a mini black hole would form for roughly 5 seconds, sucking the aircraft into it, causing damage and even death. It would have advanced technology where it would know where all of the vital organs of the humans, to where if it were in range of a human, a target system would instantly target the humans brain, aorta, carotid artery, femoral vein, superior vena cava or any other vital organ, shoot it with one fast clean and accurate bullet. The bullet would travel through the body, causing instant death of a soldier. If this unit were up against other ASI units, it would simply target the main wiring system powering the unit and would target the growing tiberium system keeping a colony soldier alive. One fast clean bullet. This unit would be able to place either black hole charges, or demo charges on structures. A small black hole would form on top of the building, sucking it in. Not some crap like the rift generator where the building simply takes damage. The building is sucked in. The demo charge would simply explode causing intense blue and red fire with an audible explosion. If this unit encountered a tank, it would shoot it with a special disabling beam that slows the tank down and eventually disables it, or possibly just have a pulse weapon that targets the driver inside the tank and shoots him dead through the metal. This unit could cost a few thousand to weigh it a little. If this unit is killed, when it has a quarter of its health left a button appears. This button is basically a "leave nothing alive" button. You would activate it, and if in a strategic place would create a semi large implosion bomb where the troop was. This troop cannot be hijacked, mind controlled, hacked, or salvaged for parts. The ASI strictly designed it to complete its mission at all cost. Even if a tank shell destroys its body, it senses no pain. If it still has a targeting system and weapon it will kill.

5. The Creep
Idea: The Creep will be exactly that. Designed from a robotic assembly building, the creep is a living thriving liquid metal that can creep over any terrain. It absorbs bullet fire and tank fire, as well as fire incendiary bombs and EMP bombs. When a enemy ground unit is sighted, the creep quickly covers ground. More and more of the ground is covered by this metallic figure until it consumes the tank or troop that was shooting at it. Also note the creep could have a special button that when activated in a group with a basic ASI unit, or a commando, a button can be clicked where the creep expands upwards towards the air, absorbing all fire and creating a medium sized wall, to temporarily protect the units behind it. Enemy units can walk around this creep wall while deployed and would last roughly 10 seconds, giving the commando a chance to repair a little or the basic infantry a moment to merge into a more tactical formation for killing. The creep could not attack air and its weakness i'm still thinking about. Possibly a black hole bomb or a specially designed bomb attainable by nod, gdi, scrin, colony and the dream army d51, Cost is relatively cheep and can only build about 4 of these so that one could not simply consume someones base. The creep can attack enemy structures. Getting close to them and almost covering the structure, causing steady and medium damage.

6. Mobile battle platform
This platform could be purchasable at the barracks (robotic factory). It would almost be under tanks but not quite. The goal of this unit is to move out to the battlefield and mass produce basic robotic but advanced infantry. One would have to build a lot of troopers and place them inside this protector platform. When at desired location, this platform would shoot high tech light ribbon pulse lasers through the ground, (the color depending on what color army you are) horizontally side by side the unit and forming a wall in front of the unit. A few pulse fires would fire through the lines in the ground and an army of troops would rise from the lines in the ground. The lines disappear and the troops are ready for battle. This barrack unit would have a small machine gun for defense on the top of it. Rotatable 360 degrees. Heavy defense but somewhat expensive and very slow. The reason I dont have this listed under vehicles is because it can transform into a rather large but dumb robot infantry. Think transformers. It could have the ability to morph into a large infantry unit, using the small machine gun mounted on the top for defense for its defensive weapon.

The pulse lasers would fire from the front of the unit into the ground, making glowing lines in the ground. After roughly 4 seconds of the lines glowing, the mechanical troops would rise from the ground.

I'm open to all criticism or ideas. I'm not very good with names so that would be helpful. Tell me what you all think regarding these infantry ideas.

Regarding Idea 1, we shall see. The ASI possesses machine platforms, but the general theme hopefully won’t be a blatant take off of the Terminator series (maybe one unit haha).

This unit might possess potential. I don’t know how an auto-cast disguise might work, but maybe it could be an ability should such means not be found. I also think it might better be served using a [short] ranged weapon. But suppose a ranged weapon is used when not disguised, possessing a melee capability would make sense. I don’t think the ASI and Colony will fare well against each other haha.

The Creeps and its defensive wall sound interesting, but the use of liquid metal might be replaced with nanites (as liquid metal is from the Terminator series we may refrain from too much inspiration from one universe). Do you mean a single Creep could consume a structure? Maybe it would do so slowly, but as it takes damage it would be fought back, so the more Creeps used the easier it would be to eliminate a structure through consumption.

As for the mobile battle platform, what is this light ribbon pulse laser and how would it allow for units to emerge from the ground? I might see nano machines making up some infantry platform(s). [These nanites could swarm out of the transport to make units appear.]

Haha I totally understand. Just thought it would be cool to have one metal tech soldier! The reflective morphosis unit would be great with a short range weapon when it isnt disguised. It's funny I noticed everything I think up is strong against humans but not too well with colony!

The creep would be awesome forming a defensive wall of nanites or something along that nature. I like the idea of using more creep nanites to consume a structure. I just envision this silver matter moving around the battlefield sort of like sludge.
I got a little crazy with the mobile battle platform. I think it would be better with the idea you said such as metallic nanites swarming out of the transport unit, forming units.

Also, the leader of the ASI robotics army would be very elite. Possibly being the one "terminator" type soldier, so it wouldn't be taking too much from one series. He could be the powerful metallic soldier that commands, has gravity bombs as well as an elite targeting system with penetrating bullets for maximum efficiency. Possibly this unit could like the first picture provided above.
