Tiberium Secrets was a C&C3; mod that was developed from 2011-2020. Our vision was to create a future for the Command & Conquer universe. We had 3 new factions planned, and managed to release 1/3 of our planned content. We scoped too big, and unfortunately needed to cancel the other 2 new factions. These included novel mechanics, lore, and IP. etc. Development has been sign sealed, and delivered. All that is required to play the ASI is a working copy of C&C3;: Tiberiumn Wars. All of the content is FREE! Of Charge. Explore to your hearts content! Love it or hate it, all things must end, so new things can grow.

Here are some new ideas for troops for the ASI. This post will probably be pretty long. 1. Basic infantry. Built from a machine processing plant, not a barracks. These basic warriors could be mass produced to form armies. They will be more powerful and harder to kill, but one aspect I would like to point out to possibly help weigh the unit is each robotic soldier slightly takes away from the players power. The ASI try to conquer by their technology. They don't waste any resources designing a pretty looking unit, but a lethal weapon. 2. Reflective morphosis unit 3. The heavy unit 4. The leader of the ASI robotics system 5. The Creep 6. Mobile battle platform The pulse lasers would fire from the front of the unit into the ground, making glowing lines in the ground. After roughly 4 seconds of the lines glowing, the mechanical troops would rise from the ground. I'm open to all criticism or ideas. I'm not very good with names so that would be helpful. Tell me what you all think regarding these infantry ideas. Edited by: cheetahman738 |

Regarding Idea 1, we shall see. The ASI possesses machine platforms, but the general theme hopefully won’t be a blatant take off of the Terminator series (maybe one unit haha).
This unit might possess potential. I don’t know how an auto-cast disguise might work, but maybe it could be an ability should such means not be found. I also think it might better be served using a [short] ranged weapon. But suppose a ranged weapon is used when not disguised, possessing a melee capability would make sense. I don’t think the ASI and Colony will fare well against each other haha. The Creeps and its defensive wall sound interesting, but the use of liquid metal might be replaced with nanites (as liquid metal is from the Terminator series we may refrain from too much inspiration from one universe). Do you mean a single Creep could consume a structure? Maybe it would do so slowly, but as it takes damage it would be fought back, so the more Creeps used the easier it would be to eliminate a structure through consumption. As for the mobile battle platform, what is this light ribbon pulse laser and how would it allow for units to emerge from the ground? I might see nano machines making up some infantry platform(s). Haha I totally understand. Just thought it would be cool to have one metal tech soldier! The reflective morphosis unit would be great with a short range weapon when it isnt disguised. It's funny I noticed everything I think up is strong against humans but not too well with colony! The creep would be awesome forming a defensive wall of nanites or something along that nature. I like the idea of using more creep nanites to consume a structure. I just envision this silver matter moving around the battlefield sort of like sludge. Also, the leader of the ASI robotics army would be very elite. Possibly being the one "terminator" type soldier, so it wouldn't be taking too much from one series. He could be the powerful metallic soldier that commands, has gravity bombs as well as an elite targeting system with penetrating bullets for maximum efficiency. Possibly this unit could like the first picture provided above. |
