Tiberium Secrets was a C&C3; mod that was developed from 2011-2020. Our vision was to create a future for the Command & Conquer universe. We had 3 new factions planned, and managed to release 1/3 of our planned content. We scoped too big, and unfortunately needed to cancel the other 2 new factions. These included novel mechanics, lore, and IP. etc. Development has been sign sealed, and delivered. All that is required to play the ASI is a working copy of C&C3;: Tiberiumn Wars. All of the content is FREE! Of Charge. Explore to your hearts content! Love it or hate it, all things must end, so new things can grow.

Once again I know i'm new, and I know an update has already been posted with defense structures. I have a fascination with technology and lasers. In C&C Generals I was always laser general and had impenetrable defense. One idea I would love to see is a defense wall. Extremely expensive and consuming unthinkable amounts of power. One would have to create a field of power plants or save up for one gigantic power generator. The weakness to this defense is time, power, and money. The idea is to set up a defense perimeter around your base (assuming it is just a plain regular base occupying a circle space). The structure could look like a devil pitch fork, or a floating glowing ball like the sun. When you place one turret by itself it is pretty basic and not very powerful. Everytime you purchase a new defense generator you place it within a close distance, almost making a wall. After most of the game being over one could probably afford about 8 of these. They communicate with each other with state of the art technology. When a unit gets near one, they all focus their laser power to the unit next to them, making the firepower more powerful. A small weakness to this might be very fast air craft. The end result is a laser that melts humans/troops, tears through tanks and blasts air craft out of the sky. Firing rate would be medium - semi fast. Another perk could possibly be in a time where an army might overwhelm the lasers, you could click on the turrets and with the click of a button, a small blue wall pops up forming a line between all of the turrets. Not impossible to pass through the defense wall but just adding a little bit of difficulty (but possibly a recharge time for the wall, extra power and an extra price).

Another defense item is branched off of this idea. Think of the stasis chamber but magnified. The player could place small pillars in the ground in their base. if a mothership was on its way or a large squadron of troops, the ASI player could deplete all of their power for 30 seconds-55 seconds to form a large protective bubble. The pillars would act as how large the bubble got. Just like the stasis chamber in tiberium wars but bigger. Could protect base against nukes or other units. Maybe to make this fair, units can still enter the bubble (maybe?) but troops would disentegrate, tanks take heavy damage and air craft would explode on impact.

Please let me know what you think of this high tech defense line. I'm open to all forms of criticism and ideas.

Regarding the first paragraph, might this function like a Prism network as seen in the "Red Alert\" series? And what reason would the player have for activating the blue wall if it doesn't block passage? Might it damage units that pass through it?

As for the second paragraph maybe the players units would be slowed as well?

Might the magnified stasis chamber be an ability of the defensive wall segments?

I could see the defense network communicating and being a network like similar series in Red Alert and Generals. The player could activate tall plasma like blue walls to either completely temporarily block passage, or making the wall just very difficult to pass but still possible for a little bit longer of a time. It could damage units, slow them down to the extreme where the defense network could successfully destroy the unit, or completely make ground passage impossible for a short amount of time.
The magnified stasis chamber could be a purchasable upgrade, or simply another button toggle that needs to be charged after a certain amount of time, or might require an extra demand of power to form the protective bubble around the base.
