We are joining the celebration with a small showcase this year because we've been way too silent lately so we wanted to reassure you that we are still here working away on the project and we have some new things to show. I hope you'll come along.

We are once again participating in the fantastic Tiberian Sun Anniversary event celebrating the anniversary of the very game that inspired so many of us and the community comes together again. I apologies for the late notice the event is already in progress, and we will be doing a small showcase on the 21st of August at 2PM +0 GMT. But that said there are still 8 more days of fantastic mods and events planned to participate in and don't forget to catch up on what you've already missed so far over at the Tiberian Sun Anniversary Discord Server

Our Showcase is a small focused one this year but we've come with some new things to show, most of the team is still focused on the optimization work and we've hit a number of roadblocks this year due to real life problems in various members lives which was not ideal. We also didn't want to bring too much work away from optimizing as that is the key milestone to complete to move the project forward to release.

We've been working hard on the optimized version (which is at this point a complete rebuild of the project code) it has come a long way but we felt for this showcase the best gameplay can still be seen in the unoptimized version at the moment so we've put together a small showcase on some things we've been cooking up. But we're really looking forward to showing you all the latest in the optimized version the performance improvements and doing a before and after demonstration but we're just short of that for this event so something to look forward to in a future update.

Tiberian Sun Rising Gameplay Showcase - 21st August

On the 21st of August, we will be doing a short gameplay showcase at 2PM +0 GMT

This is a small event this year we don't want to overhype things while we're deep in in development on optimizing what we had to get it ready for release, but we didn't want to leave you without an update because we have noted we've been quiet for far too long which I truly am sorry for the radio silence.
