Thrawn's Revenge is a large-scale mod for Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It includes the events of the Galactic Civil War after Palpatine's death at Endor, up until the signing of the Pellaeon-Gavrisom treaty. If you own the Steam version of EaW, you will have to complete extra steps to run the mod after installation. Please see the manual for these steps.

speaking of republic ships, Corey, can you add the mediaters to help the new republic deal with left over SSDs after palpatine dies, instead of having to wait for viscounts, cause it going from the star destroyer size to SSD size with nothing in between is a tad irritating

Is the Bellator going to be a new ship for the Alignment? And if so: Is it going to be a replacement for the Preator II or another capital ship to compensate the comparatively little ship pool of the Alignment? ;)

I think corey wants to give the warlords and the Alignment more firepower due to the fact that the Imperial R and the New Republic have super ships like ssds and the viscount. plus all the new ships are to be like star destroyers but better

Why cant the IR get Secutor and Bellator too? They have at least a few on Byss in the Operational Shadow Hand as IR's huge fleet of terror lol.... plz add them to IR plz~?

Why do so many people suggest giving multiple factions the same ships when new ones are announced? The IR and NR both have a good, large ship roster. They don't need new ships.

The PA is already the weakest faction in terms of unique units - giving their new ones to others would make them almost pointless to play.

The creators stated that they want to give the PA and warlord factions more diverse units. They also stated they would add individual warlord factions like the Greater Maldrood (probably not playable). Anyways, the IR and NR have enough ships.

Actually... There will be 3 Warlord Faction, The Greater Maldrood, Eriadu Authority and Zsinj's Empire and those will (most possibly) be playable.

If it is possible to have as many AI factions as you want now, surely they'd be able to have the Maw Fleet, Ciutric Hegemony, Protectorate of Prakith and Antemeridian under Moff Getelles too (though obviously without much unique development). Having a more busy Galaxy would make the mod truly fantastic.

That's not the case- Corey was thinking in 3.
The freeze bug comes when planets change ownership too much and stuff, so he wants to avoid to make things messed up. Normally you only experience the freeze after hundreds of weeks.He wants to avoid that you should close the game every 20 weeks to use defreezer, because that's what it would do.

The freeze have nothing to do with the mod, it is the Petroglyph engine what makes this happen. GCs like Imperial Civil War push the game engine to the limit. This freeze is practically a bug what makes you unable to select and control your units, and depending on the size of the GC and the times of planet control changes happened between AIs and you(including AI-AI). It happens somewhere about 300-400 weeks.
About how to use it, it is stated very clearly in the program.

oh yeah, xD i just couldn't find the savegame
I got the freeze but de-frezed and got a New Republic onslaught against my Pentastars as a reward xD repelled it if you wonder...

Btw i have some ideas for ships: how about the guys add the DoomGiver from Jedi Outcast as a carrier for the remnant ( since canonically thay are remnant or the pentastar, for the splinder faction-esque factor) as well as the Reborn and Shadowtroopers ( Jedi Outcast ) for land?
plus, since you put in missions they could add Ruusan and Sulon ( as well as other places) to make missions similar to the SW EU Games, maybe with benefits...( possibly an "upgraded hero with new powers...in case it's possible) or an actual unit-upgrade outside of the battle itself and affecting all the GC...
Also, vanilla units can still apply here...Dark Troopers perhaps?

If only multiplayer is fully supported now ( with the clients available) this could turn epic.

What you think of the above unit ideas? :)

Let's start from the Doomgiver. First, it would be too much work to create a brand new unit, only to use it once(as the ship was unique). Not to mention it wasn't for space combat. It was for fast troop deployment.

Other than that, the Remnants NR and EotH are a well balanced and developed factions so they will not receive too much if they get anything new at all.

About missions... they are VERY hard to make, so the team shall not bother with them. The only mission they have(katana fleet) took months to create.
With reborn and shadow troopers, the problem is that they existed only for a very small amount of time and saw very limited use to be important in a galaxy wide scale. Just doesn't worth it.

well, in case you are still looking for new units to make , i think the Remnants can use this Youtube.com (staring from 40 seconds), directly from the Jedi Knight game saga, as a Carrier ( since that's the main function of the ship ) as well as the Reborn (sort of dark jedi) and Shadowtroopers featured in the same saga as well as other stuff from it, even a special Dark Jedi unique unit for the Pentastar Alignment featuring the 7 dark jedis from Dark Forces 2 ;)

May I ask, since I know missions are a complete pain to make, why not try making a more galactic based whole mission (sort of a campaign like in the vanilla FOC), space based missions should be the easier ones to make as it useually just involved blowing up certain things or taking out a certain target, land based missions i admit (because i have previously tried making one but had no idea how to program units or use Command XML) do take a huge amount of effort to build unless they have a minor appearance such as stealing ships or tech like in the original empire at war rebel campaign, which i beleave could be a good use for the vanilla zann consortium piracy corruption option renaming it -steal blueprints-

as for the GC i see no problems with the updates you have shown us thus far
