The Worry of Newport is a two part Horror/Mystery built upon Crysis 1. It is an interactive narrative and story built upon the first person perspective around immersion, story, and atmosphere.
Playtesters have called the Enhanced Edition a simple, but beautiful, update. It is a thoughtful enhancement of all scenery, level detail, and art direction, turning narrow strips of levels that looked so fake into vast open beauty in the world of Newport's mythos.
This is the town of Bressen.
For those who don't know, Part 2 Enhanced Edition will be the last release or update to TWON. It's due in a week or less, and enhances all the level design n Part 2 to be more polished and fixes a good number of bugs. No new content will be added, so if you play Part 2 now, EE will be the same except having improved visuals and art direction. That's it.
I'm a firm believer in never adding content post release, so everyone gets the same experience. In this case, playing the EE is just a more artistic and beautiful experience. :)
The only reason this exists is frankly, by my standards, some of the parts of the levels in Part 2 are crap graphically, like Iran and Bressen (this scene), but 90% of them are fine by my standards. This final patch makes them all fine and consistent.
one word, wow. Great work this look great.
