...and I alone survived to tell the tale. THE WIND, an epic drama set in a Midwestern high school, needs you! We are presently in need of a wide range of designers to join our already dedicated team. Join people from all over the world and come to make something unique and special! THE WIND is a mod/film hybrid, that will be a playable mod that will also be used for Machinima (video game driven films). Essentially, it will combine film, video and Machinima content, done mostly in Half-Life 2's Source engine. Dark, dramatic and epic, it will break through the boundaries of experimentation and be a serious attempt at doing something completely new for feature films and Modifications!

Nearly 400 hundred storyboards illustrate THE WIND, a feature length video game animated film!

Posted by on

Over the summer THE WIND, a feature length machinima, has made some strides forward. With the script currently under examination at several studios for film and animation, THE WIND has pulled into the background to work on going into production in a professional capacity. One thing that was created over the summer was a press kit. Inside that kit is a collection of 400 storyboards that illustrate every dramatic moment of the feature. Created by the writer and director, we wanted to share some of them with you. See more images now at www.thewind.tv

wow, looks great. im taking storyboarding class right now and to tell you, it must be very hard to do this with free time. i recommend you to add some backgrounds, and more shading. try not to use arrows and i suggest that the first panel you have here should include what he is waiting for. maybe a OTS shot with what he is waiting for in the distance? what can i say, im getting a C in the class. Great job, keep it up.

It's nice to see story taking the front seat here. Really hope this all works out for you guys. My only advice, don't screw up on voice acting. Make sure it's good!

Arrows are okay, but you need to distinguish between character and camera movement (e.g. black arrows for characters, white/outlined for camera). Basically it would make more sense to me to see a scene instead of unrelated pictures, but these are will drawn...almost too well for sb.
