Road to Limansk is a mod for Clear Sky aimed at improving all aspects of game play.
Haven't posted anything for awhile so I figured I would make a video.
Remember how SoC had random anomalies scattered around the zone? JUst be walking along and your detector would beep then WAM!
Well they're back. Not only are they back, but they spawn randomly with each new game and they sometimes have artifacts in them.
I increased the spawn rate for this video, they won't be as common in game.
Do artifacts respawn too, or are they fixed?
Awesome! but can anomalies spawn in mission critical locations and thus preventing you from handing in a quest or even preventing you from completing the game?
I'm not 100% sure if artifacts respawn. Its using the original game code to make it work, so if it was like that in SOC then it should be like that here.
And anomalies won't spawn in mission critical areas, there's "safe zones" designated inside the script that won't have any, such as bases or scripted positions that are story critical.
Also, mutants are getting a similar treatment but it needs balanced out. Can't have a giant in the swamps or some crazy **** like that. The whole thing is just something I'm working on between models, I can't only stare at polygons and the SDK for so long before wanting to scream.
Will the mod work on different langs or will it need some big translation. (the cons of having cd version of the game thats polish.)
The main game itself is the US version, but I think all versions of the game are interchangeable.
My mod is in English, that is the only language I speak. However, the only things I've changed/added that should effect language is item/weapon/armor/etc descriptions. Once the mod is done, if people want to volunteer to do translations in a certain language for those items, I would be more then happy to include it.
In my experience, it doesn't cause problems for non-english versions. The only thing that happens is that you will have two languages present (non-english for the unmodified texts and english for the new stuff/modified texts).
You can ask Trikster from Misery Dev team for Polish translation.
He made it with someone else I think for Misery when 2.0 came out. =) Having one lang is good for me cause I can play with whole integrity game lang = mod lang.
But the whole mod seems Awesome right now.

Is there any way to get the minimap and health bar back up. I remember for SoC mods there was a mod that allowed you to reposition the different aspects of the hud that would allow you to bring the hud back...
nvm I am dumb. Forgot to read through the summary's comments section. This mods graphical changes make this game look so beautiful, and run smoothly even on my crappy rig. I LOVE THIS MOD!
