I'm sort of a perfectionist though....it can always be better.

Weapon scopes and sounds are great, but I just can't get used to that strange lift during the reload :P

Can you make a addon for the eating using something where you disable the animation and the time it takes, when it comes out

This hud is better than misery. In misery you had the health and sprint bars. Here you have only bleeding icon so its more "hardcore"

I'm not a fan of the reload animation; I can say from experience that if you try and work the bolt like that you're going to have a tough time keeping it steady. Generally people just do it like a Garand: hold the gun with your forehand and work the bolt with your trigger hand.

Dude love yours new guns, it just that the sks reload animation its not realistic, i mean the rifle is heavy to control with one single hand. I think that de reload animation should looks like more like the metro 2033 ak reload. Hope your mod !!

You should keep these 3d scopes

I'd rather have these over the 2d overlays.

I think the 3D Scopes look fine the way they are, they are not perfect but the idea of making a 2D image of them, in my opinion is really a down-grade. You lose the sense of space and realness that being the actual physical gun brings in, even if its not 100% realistic; the 2D image loses the aspects the real-time 3D model brings, even if it brings in its own merits.

I totally understand being a perfectionist however and I wish the best for you.

im not too crazy about the scopes when viewed in. I prefer the more standard 'closer' look imo.

Description

First, yes the SKS has a removable magazine. The animations for reloading the stripper clips kinda jumped all over the place. Considering it takes people on youtube about 5 minutes to setup a SKS for removable mags, I'm going to let it go. That way it can have some good animations and a mag upgrade.

Scopes....they look awesome from the outside, but they look like shit when you aim. The PSO looks like your looking down a pipe. Unfortunately, Its a limitation of X-ray. There is simply no way to get a good 3d scope without reworking the engine or some major scripting. Making even a good lens isn't even doable because of shader limitations. Skoker is doing it with 3.0, but thats for CoP and the chances those engine changes coming to CS are slim to none and I don't feel like waiting around for them.

So...the solution is what everyone else has been doing for years. I'm going to crank up the settings all the way, zoom in as close as I can without clipping, getting a good screenshot of the render, then clean it up with PS.

With the current setup I can set it up so it looks like your actually zooming in the scope before the transition to the overlay. Might work in that nifty lighted scope mod also.
