Does reshade support DX 10 mode? We know ENB does not natively (some users were able to get hacky and incomplete compatibility, but Boris has not had a part in this).

I had it working with Dx10....sorta. I kept getting weird crashes so I have it running with 9.

It doesn't bother me at all. Most of the dx10 shaders for CS are copied from R2. Volumetric Smoke and Wet Surfaces are the two biggest features that Dx10 has. I'm working on porting alot of the R2 features from the SOC dynamic shaders mod over so that will fix most of those problems.

Of coarse, installing reshade is optional, so If someone wants to just run pure Dx10 they can. This is all a work in progress and I think the crashing issue might be related to the engine changes I've made, I might be able to sort it out.

I know some people have ported ENB shaders over to reshade, which could be causing the issue.

You can try sweetfx and see if you still crash. I've used it across all the stalker games, vanilla and heavily modded, and had no issue. If you still find crashes, it probably is related to the engine changes.

I've used sweetfx across all three games also.

The version i'm testing with right now is the current reshade + Sweetfx and Master Effects reborn. Tried a few different versions of reshade so far with not much success for Dx10.

All the AK and M16 series textures were made by Heffy for Fallout:NV. I modded the textures just a bit because of the way Stalker projects the maps vs fallout.

Thought I'd take a few screenshots since I haven't posted anything in a few weeks. Making new icons has been a pain in the ass, since it also meant retexturing almost all props in the game. Good thing is, almost every prop is now "HD". Its overkill, but even a can of beans looks damn good now.

I decided to take some time and get reshade working and tweaking it. All effects can easily be turned on and off.

Reshade is basically a Directx injector shader suite like ENB or Sweetfx. However, it allows for much more and allows the creation of costum effects.

These images were taken with the Directx9 render, the directx 10 render is kind of pointless with this setup and other changes I'm making to the ingame shaders. With a R9 270x video card, I'm averaging 45fps.
