Hold on, I never heard of CSRP. What is it? Will it help against the TAGES feature for Clear Sky? I can't run any mods for it because of the disk check b.s.
Clear Sky Reclamation Project? Bugfixes plus minor addons. As close to vanilia as possible.
Thing is - people constantly recommend Complete mods for the first playthrough, which is wrong.
This one (and ZRP for SHoC) should be recommended for first playthroughs.
I don't know about TAGES but my copy of the game have sneaky DRM, where playing without disc block the dialouge with Hog in Army Warehouse.
Ok then. The Western copies of Clear Sky have TAGES which incorporates a disk check while running the game. I can only play the vanilla, because any mods crash my game due to it failing to detect the disk in my drive.

I bought CS 2 times (no piracy) but I always use NODVD !
-on W7 32b, I used Tagesprotection.com and after install, it's OK
-on W8 64b I don't have any problem
French explanation for TagesSetup - please use a transalator for understand :
1. Cliquer Tagesprotection.com
2. Enregistrer l'application TagesSetup.exe sur le disque dur.
3. Effectuer un clic droit sur l'application TagesSetup.exe et cliquer Exécuter en tant qu'administrateur.
4. Si des pilotes sont déjà installés, veuillez les désinstaller en cliquant le bouton Oui.
5. Cliquer de nouveau le bouton Oui et cliquer le bouton OK.
6. Effectuer de nouveau un clic droit sur l'application TagesSetup.exe et cliquer Exécuter en tant qu'administrateur.
7. Cliquer le bouton Oui pour installer les nouveaux pilotes puis cliquer le bouton OK.
8. Démarrer le jeu.

I don't think CS is playable without CSRP. Usually I'd say play the game first without any mods, but with CS I recommend this for the first play through.

anybody here came becasue of gopher's walktrough and wanted a close as possible to vannila? also i do like Arsenal overhaul cus it adds new weapons and **** like that but idk i like a vanilla S.T.A.L.K.E.R experience well shadow of chernobyl can use a bit of mods i used AO in Call of chernobyl and prypiat only just cus i felt like it but if u have to many guns u dont even know what to choose
