I'm really suprised that trenches work, Now if there's an easy way for them to get in. Also, loving the new look of seiges
how about a particular order that tell the men to jump in the trench. like press f2 then order men to jump or cover in the trench. just sharing some ideas :)
If only I knew how *wishful sigh*. Maybe Nuke can figure something out.
i recommend checking out the reckoning mod its seems he/she/them have figured out away to make units take cover

Trenches are far from authentic WW1.
Who cares that the trenches aren't 'authentic' WWI? As tanks and other armoured vehicles became more and more prevalent in the interwar years (which The Red Wars is set during), static fortifications like trenches became more of a liability than an asset anyways. Trenches would probably only be used as a temporary cover for troops attacking or defending a besieged city (as suggested in the picture description). Basically, Tanks > Trenches. I doubt the people working on this game are trying to simulate actual trench warfare.
I was replying to dinnerblaster1 who thought it was an authentic trench system, not implying that this mod is purely focused on trench warfare.
I said nothing about the system, just that the trenches looked neat. But this isn't really a matter worth arguing so I'll leave it there.
Looks Amazing i love how this is a bastard child in-between ww1 and 2 hahaha but i hope to see more trenches :D!!!! Great work keep it up we all want moar
