The Red Alert, developed by the mod team of C&C Labs (makes of The Forgotten and C&C All Stars, undertakes one of the most ambitious tasks in C&C modding: to recreate and improve upon an original game. The mod, in development for Red Alert 3, is based off the original Red Alert's art and game play. Not aiming to model realism, it instead endeavors to bring the addictive heart-pounding game play of the classic to a world-class 3D engine, to bring back all of the classic units, including those from Aftermath, and to recreate the very "feel" of its art style. With The Red Alert, epic tank battles, MiG attack runs, and Cruiser strikes will be more than just fond memories — they will all be weapons in your arsenal once again! It was released on September 21, 2011 and was ranked the number one mod on Moddb.

Not much new information to add, just some new renders for your eyes. I'd like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that the artistic goal of this mod is to recreate the very "feel" of the original art; not to make a realistic version of Command & Conquer: Red Alert.

I'd like to see a render of the Cruiser battleship or the ore refinery. :)
Great job as always, these renders gives me the most flashbacks than every other mod.

IMO you should seriously consider increasing the detail on your models. Yes, I know that you attempt to recreate the original RA feel, but with these kind of models I fail to see why you need an engine like the RA3 one.

The original RA sprites offer many possibilities for an artist to expand on, "sphere on box" designs like the light tank and the two-color paintjobs without even the slightest decal IMO don´t do justice to the game you are trying to remake.
TW/KW already easily handles main combat units with ~3k polys and 3 1024² textures (and could probably handle more) even on average systems; RA3 should be able to handle even more. Sure I don´t want you to start churning 5k poly models, but please keep in mind that the game gives you quite some leeway for your work.

The allied Helicopter (was it an Apache?) and Construction Yard would be nice to see.
