The Red Alert, developed by the mod team of C&C Labs (makes of The Forgotten and C&C All Stars, undertakes one of the most ambitious tasks in C&C modding: to recreate and improve upon an original game. The mod, in development for Red Alert 3, is based off the original Red Alert's art and game play. Not aiming to model realism, it instead endeavors to bring the addictive heart-pounding game play of the classic to a world-class 3D engine, to bring back all of the classic units, including those from Aftermath, and to recreate the very "feel" of its art style. With The Red Alert, epic tank battles, MiG attack runs, and Cruiser strikes will be more than just fond memories — they will all be weapons in your arsenal once again! It was released on September 21, 2011 and was ranked the number one mod on Moddb.
Takeoff.... Initiating Drop off
Initiating bombing run! :D
It looks like the Spy plane for soviet, maybe it is?
Naw, it's the MiG attack plane. The spy plane is different (although I think the spy plane is still a type of MiG).
(buried)
No both are the same plane just one has its wings swept back in the back position
You are incorrect, good sir. The two planes are different and I have the original art files to prove it.
well they both look alot like
no the migs look WAY bigger then the spy planes, plus if you look close at the sprite you can see the gray things sticking out the sides of the nose
Couldve almost sworn that the sovs used MiG 29s in RA1
As I've said before, I don't care. However, after researching MiGs, and after studying the sprite closely, I'm fairly certain it is the MiG-27M. The details are exact, from the location of the engine intake, to the single elongated tail fin.
They did in the FMV's
well, the mig is in reality a mig 29. The spy plane is a su 35
that's not a mig 29.... the mig 29 fulcrum has 2 vertical tail fins and thicker wings.... but the spy plane is the su 35
nicely done!do i see traces of camo on the wings?
