The Red Alert, under development by the mod team of C&C Labs, undertakes one of the most ambitious tasks in C&C modding: to recreate and improve upon an original game. The Red Alert, a mod in development for Red Alert 3, is based off the original Red Alert's art and game play. Not aiming to model realism, it instead endeavors to bring the addictive heart-pounding game play of the classic to a world-class 3D engine, to bring back all of the classic units, including those from Aftermath, and to recreate the very "feel" of its art style. With The Red Alert, epic tank battles, MiG attack runs, and Cruiser strikes will be more than just fond memories — they will all be weapons in your arsenal once again!

I like how you did that effect of the Gap Generator :)
The steal-effects always lagged my PC so much I just took them down out of misery.
Especially with Nod, on C&C3

Yes, I remember it wasn't exactly stealth,
but forming the Fog of War on your base, but my point still stands.

The effect looks a tad better on the MGG... did you make a new one for the GG or did you just upscale the original one? I think you should decrease the height of the border effect by some, and maybe add some swirling effects on them? Other than that, nice progress. But why is there no gap shroud around the CY, it's within the shadow range?

Most likely because a video requires you to actually start/install some extra programs
and taking screenshots can be done while testing the Mod.

Although I would also like to see a video though ^^;

Oh, by the way, your circle representing the radius of the gap gen. has a shadow,

probably won't to fix that

I didn't initially intend for it to have a shadow, but the shadow looks cool when combined with the gap's pulsing effect, so I left it.

the shadows do look kinda cool.

It's not possible to change anything about the shroud or Fog of War in RA3, so it will have to remain exactly the way it is.

Description

Sorry if these seem a little lackluster compared to previous releases; I wasn't really prepared this month.
