The Red Alert, under development by the mod team of C&C Labs, undertakes one of the most ambitious tasks in C&C modding: to recreate and improve upon an original game. The Red Alert, a mod in development for Red Alert 3, is based off the original Red Alert's art and game play. Not aiming to model realism, it instead endeavors to bring the addictive heart-pounding game play of the classic to a world-class 3D engine, to bring back all of the classic units, including those from Aftermath, and to recreate the very "feel" of its art style. With The Red Alert, epic tank battles, MiG attack runs, and Cruiser strikes will be more than just fond memories — they will all be weapons in your arsenal once again!

Small showcase of submarines....
Wait ... I don't recall submarines from Red Alert 1 firing missiles above the water.
Is this a new thing, or am I an ignorant noob?
I am relatively certain that one of the soviet subs did, although I never played RA1 so don't quote me on that...
you're right about red alert 1
but in the expansions there were missile subs that can fire above water and land.
and this mod is both ra1 and its expansions...if im not wrong
Ahh, never did play the expansions.
Therefore, I've moved from "Huh?" to "Cool!"
I played RA on The First Decade, and they really can to attack units on the ground. On APB, you can to do it, too
Ya they can't attack naval units on RA1 tho. At least not directly lol, I just force fired close to the puny allied vessels and worked just fine. :p
Yeah, sub spam = win! :D
Soviet Missile Sub from the expansions and it was bloody awesome :D
