The Last Stand is an addon project for the Sins of a Solar Empire, aiming to provide additional and original content, depth and challenge to the game, including three new races, new gameplay elements and tactical gadgets such as mines, interdiction abilities, deployable starbases, new ship classes and more.
Yet another upgrade to the Last Stand mod and another Sins of a Solar Empire mini-mod available for download in the downloads section, the DBS sweeps away with the static ships of the vanilla game and aims to create an enjoyable and chaotic flight model for the majority of small and medium ships. Combined in this video with Bailknight's Enhanced Effect and your truly's Volumetric Explosions & Damage effects 1.13 the battles come alive with screaming shrapnel, streaking lasers and plasma bolts and (new to Volumetric 1.13) bodies of hapless victims of explosive decompression. I am sure they screamed as well. War is hell.

dude you just salved my biggest annoyance about sins. the static fights have been driving me mad. I cant wait to try this out.
I just **** my self seeing such an amazing thing. Ill never leave my chair again and go on a quest to find holy videos such as these. Pritty lights O_O
Looks epic mate, ship movement is great, fluid, believable. Only little observation, not so keen on the black missiles, didn't look right.
