A great bird of prey, the Aicanaroc is a mythical creature that features in many legends of the Men of the South - as well as in AotR's Haradwaith faction.
We've released our Haradwaith faction plan. Discuss on our community forum:

Wow, looks colourful! What exactly did you base this on? I'd like to know out of curiosity. Really looking forward to this mod.
Off of the mythological Roc bird.
That's pretty amazing work you done there MathijsRevora
Really cool. I guessed the name hinted at it, but you never know ;).
hm im not sure what i should think about that faction...i hope that at least it'll be interesting and still share some elementes of the lore...
btw the bird has to be weaker than the great eagles...as they were were manwes creation.
besides this im happy to see the mod progressing ;)
btw even if it is not really in discussion, but will this faction be in the next/first release or is that more a V2?
It won't be weaker, being that it's a final tier summon. Gondor summons a group of Eagles as one of their final tier summons, but Haradwaith summons the one Aicanaroc. It'll be larger and stronger. Consider it a Maia spirit, like the Balrog.
Haradwaith isn't particularly lore friendly. We took a lot of liberties to create something original. The faction will be the last one to be released, so quite a ways off still.
WUT!
wtf? It' s a very good idea!
I didn't imagine what is this when I've seen :D
Nice , great design i will post about this red-fire theme design in mod main page to show how accurate is this!
I'm so exited with it that i can't stop to smile, really different concept to the LOTR.
I can see him taking on a basilisk now.
AWESOME (the thumbs up emoji)
love this idea...however are these things canon ;)
Well yes, haven't you read Unfinished Tales?
well I own the book of lost tales but not the unfinished tales, but hey it's awesome that this giant birdy is canon!
Actually I was totally kidding. I made this creature up.
you ****** XD well great idea, where'd u get the name from?
Is it from arabian mythology? I used to play a game persian wars which had that bird.
The men of the east looks like the middle east people of our world
My my! Very creative idea! I love this idea but I still have to ask: are there any Rukhs (that's an actual alternate spelling of 'Rocs' btw) like this in Tolkien lore? Or is this just extra content from other mythologies? Because I love this idea either way!
