The Gate II is the long awaited sequel to hit Half-life 1 mod 'The Gate'. It is a FULL conversion of Half-life 2 and hence will have all models changed, all skins, all new weapons! Im not sure the are "Time Gates" per say as otherwise you really screwed with history in the original. I beleive it was more of an alternite time line you went into.
Ah the time problem. Yes this is problem when u play with time travel unless u stay by ‘history’ exactly then u have a time problem (chicken and egg etc) ie.. If u sank Bismarck in the gate 1 then how did the british sink her in wwII.. Few things to remember here mate.. Firstly it’s a ‘game’ and secondly whenever u decide to go back into time or forward and change anything then u have the time paradox again… This is unavoidable… Modern physics are opening up more and more to that there is a parallel Universe running along side ours… finaly to suggest it was more of a alternite time line would suggest we know how time and the universe works? well sorry but we dont earthlins know very little i feel still about what is out there and 'how things work' only 200 years ago we were still using candles to assume we know everything about time and the how things work is rather arrogant on human natures part... regardless of time :) hope u enjoy the game stratcom
Please don't make this one as unfair as the first Gate! We need more healthpacks in places! No more having to shoot blindly through foliage and only wait for them to come over here! No more coming around a corner only to get raped by a turret or a huge group of baddies!
Again, a fantastic combo of Indiana Jones and Stargate!
